Date: Friday, March 06, 2009    Posted By: Barton Brooks First off we would like to thank everyone for all of there prayers and donations for the chandler family. Matt and Kelli raised quite a bit of money for Mark and Patti. Every ones thoughts and contributions have all been greatly appreciated. As for the car, we are exactly 1 - 1 1/2 weeks from paint. The body is coming along nicely; Guy really did a great job on the interior tub. We've had Big Adam Drobnys car in the shop for the past few weeks. After a lot more work than anticipated, the car is just about ready for the body to go back on. Matt finished up all the wiring last night. The new rearend and all the new suspension is on the car. By the end of the weekend Adams car will be ready to rock. I will put a few pictures of the car up this weekend. We are still working on finalizing all of our marketing partners for this year. We are hoping to have all of that finished by the middle of this month. Everyone around here is getting very excited for this year. I personally feel Galesburg Speedway is going to have a good solid field of sportsman’s this year. I feel the Late Model division will be an exciting class as well. With the return of 4-5 cars that have been absent for a few years should bring in some good racing.
